The trouble is that life is too short, and there are so many fun things to do.

This page is about some of the things I do to fill in my time in the sun. You can explore them in more detail by clicking on the links on the left.

My main fascination is with flying machines. I am a gliding instructor and I own shares in three full size gliders and have several radio controlled helicopters, planes and gliders.

I also love photography, and combine this with flying by trying to take aerial photographs from model planes and helicopters as well as when gliding.

I love playing music and I am the principle second violinist in the Philomusica Symphony Orchestra in Aberystwyth. I also play violin and mandolin in Cloud Cuckoo, playing mainly South American music, the band has recently recorded a CD called 'Chile con Cymru'. I also play music for circle dance with Dawns Tierra. I am also part of Mind Out For Music, an organisation that uses music to promote wellbeing.

My other interests include whitewater canoeing, canoe surfing and mountain walking.

I have M.E. so there are times when I can't do any of these things, which is when I do this webpage. If it hasn't been updated for a while, it's because I have been well, and out doing lots of things.
